The Midwestern

Located near Busch Stadium in St. Louis, Missouri, The Midwestern celebrates America's heartland. Unlike traditional barbecue spots, it offers sit-down service, a refined bar menu, and modern takes on classic barbecue dishes. Inspired by the region's hard-working ethos, our identity embodies boldness and simplicity. In addition to the clean lines and no-nonsense typography, imagery of state animals, classic midwestern foods, camping equipment and nature add a lighthearted touch. The "M" from our logo quickly became a symbol of the brand, appearing everywhere from the custom glassware to the larger-than-life murals.
