I’m Amanda Pickens, an art director and graphic designer specializing in brand identities, 360 campaigns, photo-styling, and web design.

Originally from Atlanta, I now live in palm-laden Los Angeles where I work as a Creative Lead at the University of Southern California. Previously, I worked at boutique branding agencies—most recently as an Associate Creative Director at Frank Collective in LA and as a Senior Designer at Atomicdust, an agency in St. Louis that specializes in B2B work as well as restaurant identities. I’ve also worked in-house for Plated and Paperless Post in NYC and interned with Etsy. I first fell in love with graphic design while teaching second graders in Shanghai.

In addition to my in-house branding work, I have designed and collaborated on projects for Facebook,

Uber Eats,

Edward Jones,

and

Dusen Dusen.

I hold an MFA in Graphic Design from the Rhode Island School of Design and a BFA in Studio Art from NYU.
